SANTA CRUZ - The Burg Council on Tuesday will consider a $2.5 million project to talk about the Golden State Warriors' Development League basketball affiliate to Surf Burg.

Warriors officials aim to move the Dakota Wizards to Santa Cruz next edible. The team would play in a new 3,200-seat temporary arena planned for a parking lot at Front Drive and Laurel Street Extension, according to the proposal, which was announced Wednesday at the Guard's Scotts Valley office.

"We took the approach that if man can walk on the moon, we can strengthen a 3,200-seat temporary basketball facility in Santa Cruz," said Jim Weyermann, the Warriors' sin president of new franchise development.
