What are some ideas for making my own cabinet knobs or drawer pulls?

 I am renovating and would like to have buttons / pull with the leaves of maple sugar on them. I'm crafty. What methods or materials that I could use to achieve certain?

Until now, all I can find online are other species of maple leaves.

 You can use wood in many ways ... as cuttings or leaf shapes with shapes or pictures of maple leaves on pieces of wood reduced by using apply, cutting, stamps, etc. (or buy wooden buttons, then use the same way).

Some metal buttons could be treated how much? ..

 I have cookhouse cabinet doors and drawers and requirement to add the correct size knobs and drawer pulls. How does one select the correct size of such items for the pantry ? Not all doors and drawers are the same judge, of course.
