Cop Calls: Home Burglaries in Newport Beach
Several items were recently stolen from homes around Newport Bank, police reported.
Sometime between Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21 and unnamed suspect entered a home in the 1400 block of West Bay through an spacious bathroom window after removing the screen. Police say the victim reported two firearms, a laptop and two Nixon watches missing. An unidentified suspect entered a home in the 1200 block of West Balboa Blvd. on Friday, April 20 between 4:30 and 11:50 p.m. Patrol say the suspect entered the home through an open bathroom window. The scapegoat reported missing a U.S. Passport and assorted coins. Policewomen say sometime between Sunday, January 1 and Sunday, April 8, an unknown think it likely entered a home in the 100 block of Via Quito and stole a babysit for and other items of jewelry.
