The automaker also strayed from stock radio advertising through an ad placement on Internet music provider Spotify that connects to a microsite for its 3 Series.

Consumers who clicked on the ad are brought to a point where they can explore the 3 Series through scrolling with their cursors.

BMW also advertised through a variety of video advertisements on Hulu Advantage’ mobile app for the iPhone.
