Darin and Greg Bresnitz have had more people in their Williamsburg caboose than they can count —and most of them were strangers. For the past two years, their space has hosted the indie eatables reality show, “Dinner With the Band,” on the Independent Film Moat, giving a vast, anonymous audience a peek into their culinary hangout.

In addendum to serving as home base for the show, the two-level studio/kitchen/crashpad serves as a salon for guests and musicians, and the Bresnitzes themselves. When it’s not pleasurable the likes of chef Sam Mason or musicians Rufus Wainwright or Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, the cookhouse hosts pop-up restaurants, chef demos, test cooking and unrestricted video productions. The fusion of food, music and indie video is the brainchild of these media and TV entrepreneurs, who are like twin brothers.

We fully intends to skylight on the confusion of our top Brownstone (built in 1851). We already have an upstairs bathroom and tenderness. My only hesitation is the additional amount of zeal that it could happen again, it is already hot on the top floor (we have air conditioning at full blast if one is missing, but we try not to abuse thereof). Does anyone have the wisdom / suggestions about this? I guess they have shades and tinted skylights. Do create a clear imbalance?The skylight in the bathroom is not tainted or shade and can get them from head to feet warm in there.

I also choose not to cut through one of the beams of the roof, so that we are effective from businesses around it and we will also have an electrician who used to guarantee the installers do not throw the wiring.

Are there other issues around this to m? It seems that often these days that people do learn (and in new construction), skylights were added....
